Amii, founder of Eleganza

Hi, I'm Amii

"I don't certify artists. I build them."

I'm a certified, internationally trained PhiBrows artist. I believe in natural design — the world's most beautiful wonders are those designed by nature. Supporting others to become the best version of themselves is what I strive for, and I do so by mastering alignment: the Fibonacci sequence is the design, and poise holds the power of alignment. Every being who leaves my studio should feel that — and be reminded of the core of who they really are, and who they're becoming.

How It Started
I was a young freelance artist looking for something exciting and creative to do part-time as a mother, and microblading had just come onto the scene. I was encouraged by the women around me who saw it was a good fit for me — and an opportunity for them to watch me grow and help build a woman-led, trusted, nurturing community. I took the chance, trained and trained again, and worked until my technique was perfected, in a climate where this beauty service was still scary for a lot of beauticians like myself. Being in the Caribbean, I didn't know how to apply the Caucasian-branded brow template to Trini women — I had to go back to my basic visual arts training and find a new approach. Ten years later, I've built a strong following and a tribe of women who live their natural beauty with confidence and support one another still.

Your Questions, Answered

Who is this for?

Anyone who's tired of filling in their brows every morning and wants natural, low-maintenance definition that doesn't rub off, sweat off, or wash away. Before your first Microblading or 3D appointment, you'll answer a quick eligibility check — some skin conditions, medications, or recent treatments mean a consultation first is the safer route, and that's completely normal.

Why invest in yourself?

Because your mornings matter. Between brow pencils, fills, and the minutes spent getting them even every single day, the cost adds up fast — and so does the mental load. This is one decision that gives back time and confidence for months at a stretch. It's not just brows — it's one less thing to think about before you walk out the door.

Does it hurt?

Pain levels can vary — many clients report little to no pain. Factors like your menstrual cycle or personal sensitivity can affect how it feels, but for the most part, the process is generally painless.

How long does the procedure take?

The initial procedure takes about 2 hours.

What's the healing process like?

Color is noticeably darker for the first 5-7 days, then fades 40-50% as it settles. Full healing takes about 28 days, and a follow-up touch-up afterward is a normal, expected part of the process.

When do I touch up?

Your touch-up will be 5-6 weeks after your initial microblading procedure.

How long does it last?

Typically 10-12 months, as little as 6 months on oilier skin — that's why an annual touch-up is part of keeping it fresh.

What's the difference between Microblading and 3D?

Microblading uses fine, hair-like strokes for a natural brow shape. 3D adds soft shading on top of those strokes for more depth and a fuller, more filled-in look.

What if I have a health condition, or recent botox/peels/laser?

If you have sensitive or problematic skin, a condition like diabetes or a bleeding disorder, are on blood thinners, or have had botox, a chemical peel, laser treatment, or significant sun exposure in the last 30 days, we'll recommend a consultation first instead of booking directly — this keeps you safe and ensures the best results. You'll see this as a quick check when you go to book.

How do I pay?

A bank transfer deposit secures your spot (or the full amount if it's $500 or less) — the balance is paid in cash at check-in. Send the transfer, then upload a screenshot as proof.

What if I need to reschedule, or I'm running late?

You can reschedule from your confirmation link any time before your appointment. There's a 15-minute grace period if you're running late — after that, a $200 late fee applies, and after 30 minutes you'll need to reschedule.
